Jobvet Services is recruiting on behalf of their client who owns a
Hotel.
We are hiring a Hotel Accountant for a reputable hotel in
Abuja. The ideal candidate must be experienced in hospitality
accounting and have a strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws. We're
looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing
hotel finances and tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Keep accurate financial records and reports.
- Reconcile daily
income from rooms, food & beverages, and events.
- Manage tax
compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT, CIT, etc.)
- File monthly and yearly
tax returns.
- Work with auditors and tax officials.

Handle payroll and statutory deductions.
- Monitor hotel budgets
and cash flow.
- Ensure all accounting processes follow internal
and external standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional
certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus.
- 3–5 years
experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and filing procedures.

Proficient in accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Opera PMS,
Hotelman).
